Dr. Harrison offers a comprehensive medical weight loss program that provides nutritional support and accelerated weight loss with therapies like hCG and fat-burning injections. Whether you struggle with ongoing fatigue, need menopause management, or you’re desperate to relieve the symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome, you’ll find exceptional treatment at Incredible Health.

After receiving her medical degree from the University of New Mexico, Dr. Harrison completed her residency in anesthesiology at the University of California, Davis. She also went on to become a fellow in the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.

As a board-certified anesthesiologist, she enjoyed a successful, traditional career until 2002, when she was diagnosed with an extremely rare lymphoma-type disease called Langerhans cell histiocytosis. At the time of her diagnosis, her life expectancy was unknown. She could’ve had just four months to live or she might’ve gone on to enjoy life with minimal impact from the disease.

Dr. Harrison became vigilant about her own health care because she had a 2-year-old daughter and a 4-year-old son who would have no memory of her if she succumbed to the disease. While traditional medicine relies on standard cancer therapy (surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy), Dr. Harrison fortified her care with nutrition, exercise, a healthy lifestyle, and supplements. It doesn’t have to be one or the other when holistic care offers optimal results. (To be clear, Dr. Harrison has not been recommended to start a radiation or chemo protocol. She has been very lucky in the world of cancer).

Since doctors make terrible patients, Dr. Harrison had her third child against medical advice in 2005. She remained healthy and strong as she continued to follow her holistic regimen. Her vigilance in self-care paid off again in 2008, when she was diagnosed with early breast cancer.

Dr. Harrison’s healthy lifestyle helped her through this second cancer journey, but her challenges weren’t over yet. In 2013, her tumor markers went up, resulting in a hysterectomy-oophorectomy to see if she had ovarian cancer.

Dr. Harrison is still cancer-free, but surgical menopause resulted in intolerable symptoms. That’s when she started bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. A lot can be learned when the doctor becomes the patient.

Dr. Harrison has walked the walk and learned a lot along the way. Her personal quest to stay healthy and strong resulted in a desire to help other people in their own quests to improve their health and lives — a goal she puts into practice every day at Incredible Health.
